Interview with Zerpenator

Fill in the blank. Hi everyone, I’m Zerpenator and ___________________

Hi everyone, I’m Zerpenator and my real name is Dennis. I am a part of the XRP and CSC community and love making Short documentaries about stuff that I find interesting. Mostly I am interested in people and what motivates them. I used to be a Marine (war veteran, special forces(counter terrorism)) and an Amsterdam Policeman, but those years are long gone. Since 2002 I have been a social worker (mental health care)and recently switched to a PR and communications job to do what my passion is at the moment. Creating content.

What is or will be your greatest contribution to the crypto space/community?

I hope some smiles every now and then and some enjoyable content.

What are your top 2 cryptos? You can’t sell one ever again and you can’t buy the other ever again (no “trading” loopholes for either). Which ones do you pick and why?

XRP is my first love and casinocoin my second. I saw XRP as a proper investment and Casinocoin as my hedge, my bonus coin. But lately, with everything happening around CasinoCoin, I feel very confident about it’s future and utility. Making Shortdocs about the people behind certain projects is also a way for me, to do my own research. It is not that I then think the project will go to the moon, but but for me to know if the people who are working on projects are legit. XRP and CSC are literally the only coins I hold. I have no interest in others.

What’s your best joke? Tell us.

I think the best joke ever is Jay Clayton. But to be honest, in 2018 I had some issues with my Ledger Nano. Wietse helped me out, in his office back then. After hours. It struck what a really nice and helpfull man he is. I actually gave him my 24 mnemonic to fix something, but he wouldn´t look at it. That is Wietse, the joke was on me.

Think about all of the problems in the financial world today. Are you excited about anything specific that blockchain/DLT will solve?

I am really enthusiastic about micropayments and how creators can be paid p2p by their consumers. Still, my all time best Blockchain invention is the XRP- and CSC tipbot. It is so cool that you can tip someone, without a bank in between. I think what coil is pursuing is a great goal.

Is there someone out there Ripple should add to their team? What would they bring to the table?

Nope, I am foremost an XRP (L) lover. Don get me wrong, I really am thankful for what Ripple is doing, but, I am more enthusiastic about what other Dev’s will create on and with the XRPL.

What’s the first thing you buy when crypto moons?

When I shoot a documentary I use my wife’s DSLR camera, a Canon 750d. For the CSC short-doc I borrowed also a 6d from a friend. I believe in creating before buying the fancy stuff. If you can make something cool with limited resources, it will improve your creativity and skills. When XRP or CSC moons I will buy a Canon C70 and a Canon 24–70mm lens. I don’t care about cars and stuff like that. The second thing I buy will probably be a round the world ticket, but we are gonna buy that anyway, because in September 2022 we are going with family traveling around the world for a year. We are backpackers :)

Do you believe technical analysis is accurate when it comes to crypto? Are there any TA guys/gals out there that stick out?

I believe in human behavior and the TA analyst that I think looks at it in the best way is the blockchain Backer. No hype, good perspective and I think a good sense on macro views.

How has crypto changed your life for the better and for the worse?

I met with so many interesting people all over the world that I would have never met otherwise. My time on Twitter however is so much more than I would like to. I really learned a lot about Blockchain, about the XRPL, about the financial world and about trading. But above all, it gave me a reason and an audience to create stuff and get it out there. I am so thankful for that.

What question would you like to ask Wietse? *Note that like everyone I interview — Wietse reserves the right to not answer certain questions :)

Yep .. Wietse … an RV… seriously 😅. Why??? And oh yeah, it is going to be in the CasinoCoin Short-Doc special. Coming in September.
